Bay Street Hoops supports KidSport Ontario & the Drive for Dreams foundation, both of which make sports accessible for children and youth in Toronto. Playing sports allows children to develop physically and mentally. Children ages 6 to 17 need at least 1 hour of moderate-intensity physical activity every day. They also need to engage in vigorous-intensity physical activity 3 days each week, according to the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention.
Drive for Dreams is a non-for-profit organization which seeks to provide life-long opportunities to at risk youth, using basketball as a way to engage talented and deserving kids from Toronto and the GTA.
