2016 Early Bird Registration Winner

Tom Durcan was the winner of our 2016 early bird registration contest. Tom won 2 tickets to the Toronto Raptors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers game on February 26, 2016. We reached out to Tom following the game to see how it was. Here is what he had to say:

How long have you been participating in the Bay Street Hoops Tournament?

I have been participating in the Bay Street Hoops Tournament since 2012, but my firm (Blaney McMurtry) has been participating since at least 2006.

Why do you continue to play in the tournament?

I won’t give up until I win that elusive E division championship.

Were you surprised to win the early bird registration prize?

Yes.

Who did you take to the game with you?

I gave the tickets to two of my associates/team members – Jordan Page and Aaron Grossman with the hope that they pass me the ball during the By Street Hoops Tournament. I found some other seats that weren’t quite as good.

What was a highlight of the game?

Kyle Lowry.
