Volunteer with Bay Street Hoops
January 26, 2016
Interested in getting involved with Bay Street Hoops as a volunteer? We can’t run our tournament without our amazing volunteers. In fact, the whole tournament is organized and run by volunteers: referees, scorekeepers, the Organizing Committee, photographers among many others.
Every year we have approximately 50-70 volunteers, who help to run one of the Toronto’s largest sports-related charity event with over 600 players from Toronto’s law and accounting firms, financial services companies and other corporations, who participate to raise funds and make sports more accessible to children and youth in Toronto.
The 2016 Bay Street Hoops tournament will take place from March 31 – April 2. This is a great opportunity for students needing volunteer hours or for those who love basketball and giving back to their community.
There are a number of different opportunities for volunteers, depending on your skills, interests and time availability:
- Orientation
- Facilities Management
- Score and Time Keepers
- Kids Clinic
- Photography
