How Bay Street Hoops is Helping KidSport Ontario

  KidSport is a national not-for-profit organization that provides financial assistance for registration fees and equipment to kids aged 18 and under. Through a confidential application process, KidSport provides grants so they can play a season of sport. Nationally, KidSport is comprised of a network of 11 provincial/territorial KidSport chapters and 178 community KidSport chapters.

Why Bay Street Hoops Supports Sports

Bay Street Hoops supports KidSport Ontario & the Drive for Dreams foundation, both of which make sports accessible for children and youth in Toronto.

Playing sports allows children to develop physically and mentally. Children ages 6 to 17 need at least 1 hour of moderate-intensity physical activity every day. They also need to engage in vigorous-intensity physical activity 3 days each week, according to the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention.
